November 23, 200520 yr I was listening to the radio when he talked about that. Good job, you made Lebastard call himself stupid.
November 23, 200520 yr "Samson explained the team's difficult financial situation with new manager Joe Girardi, who replaces Jack McKeon. "Joe is excited to be the manager," Samson said. "There are only 30 managers in the league, and he's excited to be our manager. He looks forward to Spring Training." " - FloridaMarlins.com

November 23, 200520 yr Can we atleast spell this Yankee's name correctly, it's Girardi, not Giradi, sounds like even he wants to go to Boston with his name spelt/pronounced like that
November 23, 200520 yr Joe better not buy a nice house down here cause he'll have to sell it in a couple of years
November 23, 200520 yr Like I said before, it's a no-lose situation for Girardi. What 1st time coach wouldn't want a bunch of young kids he can teach & mold? You want to go to a team with a bunch of millionaire head-cases that aren't going to listen to you?? I'm sure he wants to win, but think about it this way... If the Marlins play poorly in '06 it'll be blamed on the payroll cuts. If they play well he'll get a bunch of the credit. It's a no-lose situation IMO.
