D-Backs are right behind

Featured Replies

I know that we are only 1.5 games behind the phillies for the wild card but theres this team call the Arizona Diamondbacks thats only 2.5 games out and 1 game beind us the last thing we need is to fall behind the diamondbacks then it can really get ugly.I know ever since we have lost the 5 straight u guys have seen really negative posts but this one concerns me.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I've been worried about the Dbacks much more than the Phils for the better part of the last two months now.

The Phillies' record has absolutely no bearing on the fish until the last two weeks of the season, when the fish play them six times.

The Phils stretch with 27 games in 27 days will kill them.....The DBacks on the other hand I think have one of the easier schedules to finish the season. It'll be a run to the final day for sure.

Arizona has to play San Fran and LA alot too. Cards and Brewhahas are also featured.

I still feel that the D-Backs will win this WC but I do hope this Marlin team will get it together and make a strong push during this last month.

It is anyone's wildcard right now, but Arizona has the Giants as an obstacle that is glaring at them.

I still feel that it will be either the Phils or the Fish. Yeah, I'm aware that the D-Backs are pretty close, but they don't have any more games against us or the Phils. They play San Francisco, LA, and Colorado a lot, so I feel that they will not have the best September record. I don't consider the Cubs a threat at all, but that's just me. Kerry Wood has been banged around lately, and without him they aren't a serious threat. They did, however, do a good job taking 2 games from AZ, which helps although we had 2 taken in San Fran.
