Ok, since I missed out on the XBOX (subconscious decision, perhaps), I'm completely focused and dedicated to buying the PS3. I want to preorder the moment the release date is announced (spring, from my understanding).

I'm still a guy for beating the computer but playing against other human(s) takes it to the next level. Now they just need to make defenses better on games like football so there aren't so many cheap money plays that can be run and successfully converted with 98% accuracy.

I play on buying a PS3 and then immediately sell it on eBay. I have plans for that money including purchasing the Revolution, as well as putting some away for eventually buying the PS3 again. :thumbup

I would say you're in the minority. I mean, hell, if I could be in a tourney online and be with a team of other guys who were good and it was still fun, why not? Besides, it's not like in video games the outfielder never makes plays.

i mean even now i like to use my own controller when i play now...something about the feel of my controller, or some stupid 'superstition' so its not like it would change anything. I mean when you IM your friends to come over just tell em to bring their controller.

Because you are part of a team. You go to practice, you train, and you are part of a real team. I just found it difficult to believe that someone would want to be a dh or a left fielder on a ps3 team. So you will literally just sit there and watch for 20 min before you get 5 seconds of action? I would rather just do one on one so I could be the pitcher and play all the positions.

 

Regardless the ps3 looks awesome. I saw some trailers and it looks unreal.
