August 28, 200323 yr I thought this would already be a thread, but our first chance to look at the defending Big East champs tonite.
August 28, 200323 yr oh yes, its that time of the year. ive been wanting the season to start since Tempe. its been a long 8+ months
August 28, 200323 yr Author Let's go LA Tech! I thought I read that the QB for La Tech was a freshman when they played a few years ago, and actually put up a good game against the Canes. That was back when Dan Morgan and Co. were there.
August 29, 200323 yr Sean Taylor considers to show himself as god on earth in college football.....Winslow is having a w/e game so far.....review later
August 29, 200323 yr they've had a shaky game, but have made some big plays thankfully. but they have to play better. nice run by Gore
August 29, 200323 yr Brock will need to play a little better.... but for the first game of the season I'm pleased for the most part.
August 29, 200323 yr Luke McCown..... the real deal numbers weren't too bad last year. Kid didn't stand a chance against the storm that hit him last night though
August 29, 200323 yr that 55 yard, on the run, bullet to his WR was awesome... too bad the WR fell, otherwise it was an easy 6..... and we all know what happened the next play.... RB fumbles, DJ Williams returns it for a td
August 29, 200323 yr that 55 yard, on the run, bullet to his WR was awesome... That was a great throw
August 29, 200323 yr If anyone listened to Lee Corso he said that Miami Freshman Wide Reciever Ryan Moore will be a Superstar... that was a few minutes before he caught his 1st ever TD. Berlin looked solid.
August 29, 200323 yr If anyone listened to Lee Corso he said that Miami Freshman Wide Reciever Ryan Moore will be a Superstar... that was a few minutes before he caught his 1st ever TD. Berlin looked solid. he was comparing him to Michael Irvin, thats big.
August 29, 200323 yr Canes played well, but they did not play like a championship caliber team. Their defense made big plays but struggled to stop the smaller ones that lead to those bigger plays. They got very lucky on the DJ fumble recovery but w/e. Brock Berlin needs to stop trying to live up to the example Ken Dorsey set and just play his style. I am pleased at the way he is breaking down plays and seeing things before and as they develop on the field. The blocking was excellent, especially that of Winslow and Gore. Gore's running was also excellent. The receivers bobbled some balls that they should have caught, but a solid game from the corps this time around. Sean Taylor is still the most talented player in the NCAA IMO.
