January 18, 200620 yr Some interesting picks, but I don't think Hali falls out of the 1st. I have a feeling he won't get past Atlanta or Denver.
January 18, 200620 yr Author denver has a great pair of DE so I really cant see him there. Yeah he is a 1st round talents but this draft has so many talents. For Atlanta they need that safety badly and Ko Simpson is a hell of a player. do you like the giants picks? I flipped the pick to LB for you, the one you liked personally. I gave you a great reciever to take over for toomer in a year or two that is a 1st round talent. The CB is a 2nd rounder that slipped into the 3rd. I figured that would be a nice draft for them and hit some needs. If I remember the scouting report on gordon is he good at assisting against the rush as well, which is needed for a NFC East CB
January 18, 200620 yr How does Cutler fall from 9th to 16th? I'm all for it, but that would be a wet dream for Fin fans.
January 18, 200620 yr Author If I can get enough info on folks and teams.. Just blast away for any pick and all. If we can figure out who goes where best. I will try to do a 4th and 5th rounds onto it. I wouldnt mind even going into 7th. Perhaps can do it as a MB.com thing after the combine and see how good the website can do for picks in the draft when it comes. How does Cutler fall from 9th to 16th? I'm all for it, but that would be a wet dream for Fin fans. 9 Detriot Lions ? Michael Huff CB/S Texas BPA and biggest need, they will give Joey one more year and bring in a Vet they are saying now 10 Arizona Cardinals ? Vernon Davis TE Maryland - Best TE in the draft, doesnt like first round QBs for the coach, supposedly they are aiming at next year 11 St. Louis Rams- Jimmy Williams CB/S VT - BPA and biggest need 12 Cleveland Browns ? Jon Scott LT Texas - has Frye and needs a Oline 13 Baltimore Ravens ? Mathias Kiwanuka DE Boston College - Their kid bought himself another year with a great preformance at the end of the year 14 Philadelphia ? Demeco Ryans OLB Alabama - McNabb 15 Atlanta ? Ko Simpson S SC - Vick 16 Miami ? Jay Cutler QB Vandy - BPA and biggest need If he isnt taken by Detriot he will drop to us or to Dallas after us. Except supposedly dallas likes the Norte Dame kid really big next year. So might fly even further down to top of the 2nd.
January 18, 200620 yr no way seattle goes offense in the first 3 rounds - especially TE in the first stevens is coming around and they like hannam as well - with the development of stevens the organization has stated that they would be very reluctant to go TE in the first round the OL is deep as well I could see WR in the 3rd round though however, there is still needs at CB, DE & LB for this squad

He has expressed an interest before on ESPN of testing the market. I figured that is one of the best Guards around and would be solid replacement, if he indeed left. the Lee pick was just a great young player, that has amazing talent if he can live up to it. I will look for a DE/CB/LB for you. But I thought you linebackers are set, or just need an OLB?
January 18, 200620 yr I dont think the Panthers will go after a RB that early. Foster, Goings, Shelton, Smart, Davis...if healthy they are glutton with RBs(and some are even ok/decent!). Their 1st round pick will go to a WR to replace Proehl. Their 2nd rounder will go to a TE since IMO Mangum, Gaines, and Seidman arent very good. I have no indication of who, the two best available at the postition when it's their turn to pick. As for 3rd round, I think it will be a QB. I like LeFors, Weinke stinks, and when it comes time for Delhomme to retire(which, lets be fair, might not be for a while), competiton with Lefors would be a good thing. Once again, just my opinion.

The reasons for the 1st round backs is a few. One maroney in any other year would be a top 10 pick so really he is a great steal of a player there. Goings is really a backup is about it. Smart doesnt impress me at all. Davis is always hurt, more towards the end of his years Foster is always injured also shelton I didnt see enough of to get a true read on him. Maroney is a top grade running back. Iwill flip him out though if you wish. the TE in the second is a top notch guy and needed. You dont think you need a LB? I believe the kid's name is witherspoon, the OLB that is a FA this year for you.
January 18, 200620 yr LB is pretty good, but sharper was hurt all year and they may look for someone to rotate with him next year LeRoy Hill and Tatupu are both having stellar rookie years though I hear you on the guard pick, but i think if hutch leaves they will throw chop into that spot
January 18, 200620 yr The Eagles picks are right on the money......if they were smart.....Their not so it'll go OL, DL, TE or something gay like that.

I think your right though, I see a QB taken by the Panthers in the last round. But I actually like our options at RB. Shelton IMO can be a feature back. I agree about TE, as I dont like Mangum, Seidman, and Gaines. But I could still see it waiting until the 2nd round, as I think taking the #1 available WR helps out more. Since Proehl is retiring, a good WR is needed, as the only real threats there will be Smith and Colbert. As for a LB, I look for Witherspoon to return.

Rumors out of Philly are that Witherspoon is target #1.....and considering the Eagles have the most cap room in the league and a dire need at LB....that may not happen.

It is kewl, I am looking for commentary like that so I can figure it out. I dont know enough of some teams like carolina where you would know Alot more then I would. If you think shelton can be a feature I will update it for you and figure out where maroney goes elsewhere I will see about a wide out in the first round for you then. I hope witherspoon returns for you too, him and morgan are a nice pairing.

If I remember the scouting report on gordon is he good at assisting against the rush as well, which is needed for a NFC East CB Definitely addressed our bigger needs. I'd be thrilled if those guys slipped to us that late ... especially Gordon, some sites have him ranked him ranked up there with top guys like Zemaitis.
January 18, 200620 yr I don't think the Bears draft a WR in the 2nd round.. I think (hope) we stick it out with Moose, Bradley, Berrian and Gage. If they do in fact take a CB with their first round pick, taking a TE in the 2nd round is most likely.. and if Pope somehow falls that low, which he won't, we don't pass him twice.
January 18, 200620 yr Author yeah I realized that afterwards, that is another change I need. Need to figure out what to give them in the third too I hit their team needs up according to the team needs page on one draft website. Might do a BPA love a suggestion though
