Looks like you were wrong and I was right, as usual. Dusty Baker MISUSED HARRIS. He belongs only in Pinch hitting duty. In the minors he was getting spot starts. He is the best PH of all time and thats the only thing he should be doing if you want him to be effective at this point in his career. Has your bloodpressure lowered now since Gerald Williams was brought up, Arnie? Talk about a golden bench. Marlingirl needs to add a few more faces to her sig.
September 1, 200321 yr We now have one of the better veteran benches in the game. I think our bench averages about 10 more years than our starters.
September 1, 200321 yr Our bench played a HUGE role in todays game and I for one must admit I was wrong about Lenny Harris. I know its only 4AB's but hes looked like he knows what hes doing up there. Laying off on down and away and taking some solid cuts. GW also proved his worth with a SB, although a good throw would have nailed him. *My star of the game is Mordy...What an intelligent player.

My projection was just about right. 5 abs at most we lose for giving him a roster spot. Looks like those 4 abs so far were a total success. It turned out to be a good move, and there wasn't much to lose in the first place from aug 26 or whenever he was called up, to Sept. 1st.
