September 2, 200323 yr I'm a realistic, unbiased Braves fan who happened to have gotten obsessed with the Marlins' minor league system living 40 minutes from the Portland Sea Dogs, thus liking the Marlins and their former Sea Dogs. September 2, 200323 yr the future is directly tied to the present. the future is now. you are witnessing the future on the field. its not exactly like we have veterans at all the positions and littering our pitching staff. i am adopting this idea. the front office has stressed being competitive and putting a winner on the field, making baseball work in this market... this year they have proven this was not just talk. i would not be surprised if 80-90% of the talent is kept around, only replacing those they feel would be getting OVERPAID, or not a part of the real future. chew on that.
