Posted February 10, 200619 yr Full teams are out now East Starters C Shaquille O'Neal F Jermaine O'Neal (to be replaced) F LeBron James G Allen Iverson G Dwayne Wade Reserves C/F Ben Wallace F/C Chris Bosh F Rasheed Wallace G/F Paul Pierce G/F Vince Carter G Richard Hamilton G Chauncey Billups West C Yao Ming F Tim Duncan F Tracy McGrady G Kobe Bryant G Steve Nash Reserves F Elton Brand F Pau Gasol F Kevin Garnett F Dirk Nowitzki F Shawn Marion G Ray Allen G Tony Parker http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2325082 So, tell me again why the West has 5 forwards and no Chris Paul? 16.2 PPG, 7.7 APG, 5.6 RPG, 2.2 SPG, 3.2 A/TO and turning around that crap Hornets team doesn't get you an all-star berth? I think the top 3 snubs have to be Paul, Carmelo Anthony, and Mike Redd. And we'll use Bill Simmons for the pre-emptive strike on Baron Davis: If one more media person claims that Baron Davis is a "tough omission" from the 2006 All-Star team, I'm going to throw up all over my Zarko Cabarkapa. Watch G-State some time -- they have some nice pieces (Murphy, Biedrins, Richardson, Fisher, Pietrus, Diogu), but there's Baron dribbling the ball for 20 seconds, hoisting bad 3s and single-handedly killing them in close games. It's like somebody shrunk Antoine Walker and gave him his own team. If you're wondering why the Warriors went 8-19 before winning their last two games, look no further. I'd rather have Speedy Claxton for one-fourth the price.
February 10, 200619 yr This doesnt make any sense: All star Rasheed Wallace and Ben Wallace: PF 15.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg, 43.5 FG% C 7.8 ppg, 12.4 rpg, 49.5 FG % Not an all start Dwight Howard: PF/C 15.2 ppg, 12.6 rpg, 51.2 FG% Maybe the Pistons can stop bitching about getting respect. Not even the 72 win Bulls had this many all stars.
February 11, 200619 yr I think it's ridiculous that there are 4 Pistons. Billups and Ben I can see just because Billups is great and C in the East is shallow.. Hamilton maybe, but how can you not include Arenas or Redd? And Wallace is a very borderline choice.
February 11, 200619 yr billups and ben are no brainers. rip is borderline but arenas should be there instead. rasheed...*shrugs* they rewarded sacrificing for the good of the team over stats. talk to the coaches.
February 11, 200619 yr Complete lack of Dwight Howard. Dwight has 12 boards through 1 quarter against the Pistons. And he just made a sick block.
February 11, 200619 yr Arenas was added..... I'm pretty pissed Melo didnt make it....He's having a tremendous season.
February 11, 200619 yr Dwight put up a ho-hum 19 points and 17 rebounds tonight. Did I forget to mention he's 20 years old?
February 11, 200619 yr Dwight put up a ho-hum 19 points and 17 rebounds tonight. Did I forget to mention he's 20 years old? And he has yet to develop a potent and consistent offensive game, which will of course come very soon.
