September 4, 200321 yr Have a nice trip! It's been raining here today, but I think it's supposed to get a little bit better soon.
September 4, 200321 yr C'Ya come back soon! Yea its been raining here so the airport might be delayed since there is a tropical storm around here
September 5, 200321 yr Das, make sure you don't go to The Lobster Shack restaurant in Cape Elizabeth (my hometown). We had a bad experience with them and their wait staff. There are plenty of places to get lobster, but I can't say which is the best (I know, Mainers are supposed to like lobster and Moxie, but I don't like lobster and have never tried Moxie).
September 5, 200321 yr Author im looking forward to gettin' some LOB-STAH ...i just found out that you dont get ANY food on a 6:00 am flight to logan. WTF is that? im not gonna have any time to eat. We gotta fly into logan pick up a rental car and drive to Olgunquit. they better get me some F**kin peanuts or something
September 5, 200321 yr I was in Maine and there was a lobster everywhere, even McDonalds sold them....
September 5, 200321 yr i was all lob-stah-d out after having it for lunch-dinner-and lunch again.... but it was so damn good
September 8, 200321 yr Damn. So all we're worth to everyone else is lobster? Oh well. I must be the only Mainer who doesn't like lobster or any kind of seafood, luckily I live about an hour from the coast. I don't understand why anyone would voluntarily come to Maine. And anyone who ever does, I advise you to stay away from Lewiston, you might get sucked in by the slums, rare for a 38,000 person town. That and our intollerability for Somalis.
September 8, 200321 yr I must be the only Mainer who doesn't like lobster or any kind of seafood Nope, I said the same thing above, and I can even see the ocean about 600 feet from my house! I can understand why people want to visit, but it would be pretty rare if they came when the weather was good...
September 8, 200321 yr Author I loved the lobster up there i went to this place called "Barnacle Billys" damn it was good. also the "Marginal Way" along the rocks was beautiful. how close are you guys from Olgunquit?
September 8, 200321 yr According to MapQuest's Driving Directions, at home I am an hour and three minutes away from Ogunquit (42.51 miles). From College in Waterville, I am two hours and three minutes away (111.99 miles).
