February 12, 200620 yr gio gonzalez was one of tha britest prospects in tha white sox organization before he got traded to philly for jim thome. my question is......with ryan madson probably moving to the starting rotation.and with the great back end of tha bullpen they have in arthur rhodes and tha closer tom gordon.but there front end needs help besides gavin floyd who do they have in long relieve.so its goin to be intersting this spring because gio is young and has electric stuff nd i think hes ready to make his mark in tha major leagues.

They have a great back end of the bullpen with Arthur Rhodes and closer Tom Gordon, but with Ryan Madson moving to the starting rotation, their front end needs help, because besides Gavin Floyd, who do they have for long relief? February 16, 200620 yr knowing Gio...no he isn't ready for the show....if he has a great year maybe a sept. call-up if not a good shot next spring...he is in the same lines as Gaby Hernandez though for the marlins
February 16, 200620 yr They're not going to have him doing anything but starting... So unless he makes the rotation, which he won't, he'll be in double-a most likely. An interesting note, Pace, where Gio played high-school ball, could be producing its second first-round pick in three years this year.
