Pot... kettle.

The Pot Calling The Kettle Black ( to say something about someone else which is actually true of you yourself ... )

As long as you admit it. :mischief

You can't even interpret the definition properly.

God help us.

Not that I should have to explain it, but in the case that the pot calls the kettle black it's true of BOTH of them. Therefore by using that analogy he admits his own ignorance.

I'm shocked the Fan would be the first one to pat him on the back for it, though... This is me shock. :plain And I thought we were over that problem.

I am not allowed to find something funny? BTW, you totally misunderstood what he was saying and the reference to the pot and kettle.

Also, while I think Hedrick is out of line and totally wrong in this situation, I do not think Shani Davis is such a great guy either. I do think he is somewhat of a selfish guy and not just for not participating in the team thing, I could care less about that. The guy did not even show up to the opening ceremony. It is fairly obvious from what I have heard from people that this guy is more into representing himself than his country overall and that he is a more "into the name on the back than the front of the jersey" type of person. Obviously that is his own preference but to me he isn't some great guy either.

Going to the Olympcis to represent a country instead of yourself goes against what the real Olympics truly stood for. It's saddening...Olympics should not be about National pride.

Ya but the origination of the Olympics only had one country participating (Greece). After a while the Olympics disappeared and were brought back some 500 years later with the current concept we have now, which is more nationally oriented.

Second place yesterday ahead of Hendricks (so much for 5 gold medals huh?) in the 1500m. Pretty nice race...especially since the italian won!

Hedrick is his name.....that's alright, i wouldn't expect you to get it right.
