September 10, 200322 yr It seems that the Marlins have plenty of fans when they are the visiting team. Am I the only one that notice this? Well, at least some people appreciate the team outside of South Florida. :unsure : :whistle
September 10, 200322 yr Marlins have fans in South Florida. Most of them live there, the problem is alot cannot afford to pay $10 parking every day to go to the game, or cannot make the 7:05 starts iwthout rushing home through rush hour and not being able to eat. I think a 7:15 or 7:20 start would get more people out to the ballpark on weeknights. Saturdays should stay at 6 pm, and Sundays should move to 4:30 PM, the sun is lower and it is cooler at that time.
September 10, 200322 yr We defintley need to change the times. Sundays at 1:30 are hell, and 7 is too early for a lotta people to get there.

I agree, definately got to move the Sunday starts later in the afternoon.
September 10, 200322 yr I go to the games everytime the Fish come to Albuquerque, oh wait, I mean Phoenix.
September 10, 200322 yr The reason the Marlins no longer have the 4:00 starts on Sundays is because that is precisely the time when most afternoon thunderstorms pop up during the summer.
September 11, 200322 yr I live in New jersey and go to at least 2 marlins vs. phillies games a year. I'm going next week.
September 11, 200322 yr Would you rather go in the rain, or at 105 heat index? I would rather go at 1:35 too, but no one else seems to want to.
September 12, 200322 yr I don't think they would draw better if weekday games started at 7:35 PM instead of 7:05. Most of the fans don't show up until 2nd or 3rd inning anyway, which usually ends up being close to 7:35. I like the changes the team made to the start times this season, especially the 7:35 Friday starts, and the 6:05 PM Saturday starts.
September 12, 200322 yr 7:05 starts are stupid. Makes absolutely no sense at all to push up weekday start times even closer to when most people get out of work. I make it to about 15 games a year, but not a single one this year was a weekday 7:05, as I live and work in Boca. Can't make it down there without rushing missing the 1st half inning or so.
