Marlins record: 1-4

Runs scored: 21

Runs allowed: 21

6th fewest runs allowed in the NL

Nobody above .500 in the division.

So our pythagorean record should be 3-2. Cool.

How do you calculate that?

.......................................RS^2

Winning Pct = WPct = ------------

....................................RS^2 + RA^2

rs=runs scored, ra=runs allowed

I didn't actually calculate it, I looked at the Runs Scored and Runs Allowed and figured we should be .500. Since we have an odd number of games, I rounded up, because I'm a homer.

Ramp did give you the right formula, though.

3-6

40 Runs scored

42 Runs allowed

You figure if they keep at the even pace, they'll catch up in the W/L eventually.
