how do you make some of the cool sigs i've seen on the board?

 

and how do you put pictures on...i've tried to put pic's on from floridamarlins.com (specifically dan uggla's pic) and it said that the web addresses was like bad or something? maybe it was because there were other graphics on the page and it didn't know which one. i've also tried copying and pasting pic's on to my responses and that didn't work either.

speakin of sigs...whats with everyone putting up short videos? its cool and all but sometimes a topic will have several of you 'video in the sig' guys responding and it really slows me down, not to mention if i'm playing music...can't imagine what its like for 56k users...i don't want to be a dick, but are videos in your sig really necessary?

no avatars don't slow down my connection,yours is perfectly ok but for whatever reason when theres videos in a sig my internet gets all choppy...but i guess its ok, its not that bad i'm not gonna demand people to get rid of their videos...i wonder though if any members who have 56k have trouble reading threads.
