Nationals vs. Marlins aftermath

Featured Replies

On my way to the hospital to have this gunshot wound the final play of this game left me with.

Awesomly pitched game by both sides. We lacked a little in the hitting department. More hits in the middle of this game would've gotten us at least the tying run.

A great game to watch all around. By far the most entertaining game of the year so far even though the outcome sucked.

We get the series tomorrow.

I'm actually happy. Yeah we lost but this pitching is becoming unbelievable. We win last night, we're one hit away from winning tonight, I mean damn. Errors have to come down but that will happen with time.

Best pitching performance I've seen against us in some time.

Good to see Olsen pitch well (for the most part) though, that's what is most important to me.... that our young starters show they can mature quick.

How many shots off the wall have we had in these first few games at home? If we could just get some of those OVER the wall... :mischief

Hard to be upset with this game though.

well you gotta give Patterson credit...I just didn't like Miggy K-ing thrice :plain

We coulda done better w/ the walks we gave up...what was it? 9 or 10?

but we played hard! And I loved that! Great game, and way to battle!! :thumbup *proud of this team*

We were inches from winning this game. Tough loss.

*insert other baseball cliche in here*

As I've been saying...as long as Patterson wins the Cy Young, I don't mind losing like this.

att was 15,000 that good show up at the park

that's a pathetic showing.....

lets be honest.... we need to be seeing 25-30k fans in the seats...

if i wasn't in ny and la all year i'd be going to them (and i saw them in dodgers and anaheim last summer so don't say i don't support).

15k after all the crap we've been through...that's pretty good.

Great game by the Fish. The only thing that really hurt us was the walks by Olsen. Hopefully he will learn to keep them down next start. Willy and Aguila looked great. Too bad we couldnt get more offense going.

It just wasn't our day.

I really like this team. They never quit. Get them tomorrow guys.

What happened at the end?

Two walks- Miggy and Jake

Hammer hits a shot up the middle and Harris makes an amazing catch. It would have been a single. Run would have scored.
