Dominated in his Jupiter stint (8IP, 5H, 0ER, 1BB, 11K) *OF Jose Campusano 2-4, 3SB (390BA, 11SB/2CS) *OF Alejandro de Aza 1-3, SB (190BA, 7SB/4CS) *3B Lee Mitchell 0-4, 2K (4BB/23K 73AB) Jupiter *SP Jacob Marceaux 4IP, 7H, 7ER, 3BB, 2K, 2HRA (7.94ERA, 2.24WHIP) -Sandwich pick(?) starting off real slow so far this year. *OF Dante Brinkley 2-5, double, 2K (217BA) -one of ramp's favs getting started after injury *OF Brett Carroll 3-4, BB (354BA) -24yrs old, so he's behind a level, but he's not repeating a level and looking good. Did well in spring training as well *3B Grant Psomas 3-5 (355BA) -he's repeating this level (2005, st. Lucie, 118AB, 798OPS) because he didn't master it last year after being promoted from Low-A. Management just wants to get him 150-200 more ABs in Jupiter before he gets the call to Carolina. Way to be kid. *1B Brad McCann 1-4, BB (171BA) *CF Jai Miller 4-5, SB (176BA) -I really like his swing and plate approach in the time I saw him this past spring training and this could be his breakout game. Heard it here first. (11B/16K, 3SB/0CS) Greensboro *OF Jeff van Houten 4-5, 2HR, double (313BA, 672SLG) -At 23 he should be promoted if he keeps this up another month. 19K/67AB ratio doesn't bode well though. *1B Gaby Sanchez 1-3, double, BB, SB (487OBP) *RF Kris Harvey 0-3, 2K (2BB/12K) *C Andrew Jenkins 0-2, 2BB, SB (5BB/9K, 3SB/1CS) -Probably our best offensive C prospect in the system Forgot Ryan Tucker's start... 4IP, 5H, 4ER, 4BB, 6K, HRA Also, if anyone has any questions about acronyms just ask. :thumbup :hat

I think he's got the best reachable hitting ceiling in our system right now by combining good plate discipline, contact skills, and power together. If he does maintain his current line he should make the jump to Jupiter rather quickly where we'll see what he's really got. Low-A contains mostly recently drafted guys, including many high school players, while High-A is the first real test for a college hitter. Especially pitcher friendly Florida State league. your welcome to all who appreciate it. :thumbup
