El Guapo
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story.../offbase/060510 The Babe may not hold the Home Run record anymore but he'll always be the Home Run King....... And if u take your time to read this you''ll see why he's the greatest of all-time and shows why being the greatest doesn't always mean about stats.... Hollyberry
I read something in the paper this morning about Ruth. They said if he lived now he would have hit over 1,000 home runs or something around there.

Play the Video Ever hear of Hank Aaron? :whistle :shifty Hank ARron was great also but he wasnt bigger than life like the Babe was.......Hank Aaron was great but he's not the babe, also it took ARron like an extra 1,000 Ab's to pass Ruth.......oh and did u ever hear about how good the Babe pitched and how he could have had over 1,000 HR's if he would have hit full time from the begining.... The Fan
How about Josh Gibson? (p.s. how do i shrink this picture?)
Beinfest4Prez
I was just reading an article about the connection of Dusty Baker being hte only person to witness Aaron's 715 and possibly see Bonds 715. And I really don't care if its Bonds, but baseball again is improbably pushing that stats again. Thats why I love baseball.

MarlinFan10
The Babe outhomered most of the other teams in the league. That'd be sorta like hitting 150 HR's today I would think. He was amazing for doing what he did in an era when homers weren't that common, and his fame will never be matched by A-Rod, Pujols, or Bonds put together. Seriously, does anyone know a person who hasn't heard of Babe Ruth?
larrywalker33
Ruth also had around 100 wins as a pitcher. He was a STUD.
