So... if this keeps up... Cabrera for MVP

Featured Replies

No.

First of all, he hasn't been the RBI or homerun machine in the middle of the lineup, so I'd have a hard time even calling him team MVP.

Secondly, we still play in Florida and both he and Dontrelle, at least in the rest of the world's minds, have one foot already in Shea stadium. Remember, the media votes for this and after a while, you can only hear rumors so long before that's all that's memorable about the player.

Think he'll get the votes?

How about Dann Uggla for MVP :notworthy

I concur, as much as I love Miggy winning the MVP so far the one who has carried this team is a guy named Uggla. Why do I think Uggla has a chance at the MVP? Because we are "not supposed" to be contenders for the postseason, so that makes him more valuable to me than Pujols(who his team can win without him). :whistle :mischief

Why is this thread even here not even halfway thru the season.....Pujols for MVP depending on when he gets back....Soriano is also an option as well.
