June 20, 200620 yr I'm not sure how much of a factor it will be, but I think our hot streak could get us more than 1 rep for the game. Two of Johnson, Cabrera, and Uggla...there's so much competition at 3B that Cabrera might get shutout. I mean, holy crap, you have Rolen, Atkins, Sanchez, Wright, and Cabrera. wow. johnson has to go barring a major let down from now till all star game time JJ is scheduled to get 4 more starts before the ASB. He will probably have to win 3 of those 4 starts (and maybe even 2 of those 4) and keep his ERA low (best or top 5 in the majors) to make the All-Star team. Of course Uggla and Miguel deserve to be on the team also, but I am less sure they have a chance to make the team (Uggla moreso than Miggy). he doest have to win 3-4 as long as he keeps his ERA down. I am not so sure, but I hope you are right. He definitely will deserve it if he still has the best ERA in the majors by the ASB. And if that happens there is a good chance he will get 2 or more wins the way our lineup is stepping up to the plate and our bullpen is locking games down.
June 20, 200620 yr Unless we get to .500 it will be unlikely that we have more than 2 players in the all star game. Johnson needs more wins to be consider IMO I agree, if he can get to 9 or 10 wins, or maybe a bit more, then i'd say he has a legitimate shot. Now, even though he has been filthy so far, could be somewhat of a long shot, it all depends on if he can keep up pitching this way, and if the fish can keep playing so well. Cabs should make the team, and Uggla might get in, lets hope so.
