Someone Finally Passes Pujols

Featured Replies

Albert Pujols had held the Home Run lead (25) since May 29th.

He had held the league RBI lead (65) since May 31st.

Ryan Howard finally tied/passed him in both by hitting his 25th and batting in his 66th RBI last night on June 20th.

22 and 20 days after Pujols had already hit those numbers.

Really puts it in perspective the type of start he had to the year.

I'll add it also adds dissapointment to not being able to see what Pujols could have done had he remained healthy.

Ryan Howard is kinda good. No sophomore slump for him.

It's amazing how many people were saying the Phils should have never traded Thome after the first week of the season, now look at what his younger, cheaper replacement is doing.
