Guest marlins02
dont know if it was posted already Dolphins' Zach Thomas aches for Marlins By Alex Marvez and Michael Cunningham Sun-Sentinel Posted September 25 2003 Davie ? Middle linebacker Zach Thomas is willing to bleed if it helps the Marlins. Should the Marlins reach the fifth game of the National League Championship Series, Pro Player Stadium's dirt infield will remain for the Dolphins' Oct. 19 matchup against New England. That means more cuts and abrasions for players such as Thomas, whose elbows are a mess after Sunday's 17-7 victory over Buffalo. "You see all these scrapes and stuff, but I would rather see them win," Thomas said. "It just brings excitement, even though I hate that field. They're playing hard, and I really like that. "I have to cheer for the Marlins." With three of the next four games on the road, Dolphins officials said Wednesday that there would be no scheduling conflicts if the Marlins make a postseason run. In 1997 the Dolphins had to move a Sunday game against Chicago to Monday night because the Marlins hosted the seventh game of the World Series. The Dave Wannstedt-coached Bears won that game in overtime 36-33. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/footbal...-dolphins-front
CapeFish
Marlins almost died because of the Dolphins. I think they can take it for one more game.

Guest marlins02
im not talking about people that hate the Dolphins, not everybody is going to like the team, thats sports. everybody has different loyalties. im talking about those that have this incredible resentment toward them

If they wanted to win, they could go out there and make moves to get better, but they don't. Ricky Williams, whoop dee f***ing do. The Marlins have made more beneficial moves for their team this past offseason than the Dolphins!

What do you mean whoop de doo. I love the Dolphins (they play second fiddle to the Marlins though). However, Wayne Huizenga sucks and I hope he dies soon in a bloddy slow and painful death. Guest marlins02
i think i just started a heated discussion thats BS and you know it. its resentment because they get the attention. im always reading posts here saying they want the Dolphins to lose because you want the attention shift. i wish the Marlins got more attention, but thats the way it is. CapeFish
I am not talking about trades, what about getting Bledsoe to replace Yard-Stick for a nose last season? Greise is injured and we again must depend on Feilder and his arm to win. Not the most wonderful situation. Ricky "Butterfingers" Williams has done a nice job with the running game and cutting down the fumbles, but he still is fumbling quite a bit. I'm going to have to slap you if you make fun of Ricky Williams again. He is the best player at runningback right now and damn close to being the best period. See, you are so used to baseball you forget there is this thing called a salary cap. The Phins can't bust out like the Yanks of football and have Mike Vick, Ricky, Moss, TO, and the Steel Curtain. I think the attention has shifted. The newspapers here in Fort Myers read Marlins more than Dolphins and Bucs combined and it's thursady, by now they would have had four stories for each team, nothing to be seen this week. Ramp
Ricky Williams is arguably the best back in football right now.... the Dolphins also went out and got Junior Seau and Sammy Knight to make their D even better.... i cant believe i am actually defending this team.... but Cape what are you talking about? and sorry Jay Fiedler(when healthy) is proven and can lead this team..... he is better than Dilfer was with Baltimore and arguably better than Brad Johnson
FreshFish
I hope the Dolphins do well. However, I hate with pasion the "Football is the ONLY sports that matter. . ." Dolphins fan out there. And, we all know they are out there.
CapeFish
I don't think Seau is so great, but the ones who are in total love with the dolphins can continue to defend every move and mistake with their non-logic. All I know is that in the past 30 years only one team in South Florida has a national major league pro championship, and that is the Florida Marlins. Not the Dolphins, Panthers, or Heat. CapeFish
Get this football crap off of here. The thread had to do with the Dolphins great generosity (?) letting the Marlins use the field for baseball. amen, alot of the dolphins' revenue comes from the money they deprive the Marlins of. the sooner we get that new ballaprk the better, i am tired of the Dolphins and their crap. They don't win after December anymore and have incompetent management.
Guest marlins02
Get this football crap off of here. The thread had to do with the Dolphins great generosity (?) letting the Marlins use the field for baseball. oh yeah man, Zach Thomas controls whether we use the field or not. the article is about how he's rooting for the team, and they've been talking about that field since the start of the preseason. you would think Thomas wants them to lose in order to get diamond off but he's still rooting for them. in fact he was at last nights game i think, or was it Tuesday? thats what this thread is about. and the discussion has obviously involved the Marlins
