LOL, undercover agents bust the Amish for selling the white stuff

Featured Replies

An undercover Department of Agriculture agent goes to an Amish guys house and wants to buy some milk (No this is not an intro to a bad joke.). The Amish guy is reluctant but decides to sell the guy some milk for $2. Next thing the farmer knows is he's being busted for illegally selling his milk to the guy.

Forget the global war on terrorism, we have more important things to worry about :lol :lol

I hope the Amish guy wins.

Just look at him, you can immediately tell he's up to no good. He probably has got some un-pasturized milk hidden in his buggy with the intent to distribute across state lines, he is a threat to the American way of life, if I ever saw one.

it's not like they arrested the guy in the 'sting' operation. he wasn't 'busted' by an 'undercover agent' from a law enforcement agency.

he just got his license to sell milk temporarily revoked, which makes sense, since he was given the license under the condition that he doesn't sell unpasteurized milk.

it's certainly not violating his religion.

Well, I think the thing is, it's just f***ing milk. He's selling milk. Who gives a sh*t? We have bigger problems and yet we're busting some Amish dude who probably has little to no contact with 99.8% of the outside world.

It'd be like regulating roadside vegetable markets and stuff like that. In a buyers market, if someone buys the milk and it's sour then they have the right to not buy it again. There's no reason to bust this guy.

Oh, because it was unlabeled? What a criminal mastermind. This guy was setup and then busted for the stupidest thing ever.

"You can't just give milk away to someone other than yourself. It's a violation of the law," said LeeAnne Mizer, spokeswoman for the department.

Oh, yeah, giving away food products is SOOOO dangerous. Let's outlaw giving out candy next. Halloween is off the books. That's just ridiculous. And, while I'm not 100% sure the religious argument works either, it's still just a stupid reason to bust someone for something.

good part of the amish, you can make fun of them on the internet because they will never find out :)

seriously it is foolish though, but whatever we have alot of dumb laws.

Sounds like a job for Homeland Security.

With those beards, I'd check the soles of their shoes.
