July 3, 200620 yr I need to buy two OMLB for the upcoming Olsen/Uggla autograph signing, but I don't want to go to Sports Authority and pay like $24 for two balls. Is there anywhere cheaper?
July 3, 200620 yr I just checked online and it costs 14.99 at Target,i think at Sports Authority it's 12.99 so you'll be saving a buck or two in Sports Authority.

Last year, I got an OMLB at my local Target for 11.99 -- clear case and all. Big retailers (Walmart, Sears, etc) have prices on their websites that tend to differ from the store price. However, it's quite possible they may have just gone up.
July 3, 200620 yr Sports Authority is 14.99.. Not sure where to buy cheap ones at... Ive looked all over Thats what sucks, balls cost atleast 15 bucks and then what another 18 dollars for the signature?
July 5, 200620 yr If you're near Oakland Park Blvd, I believe Buds Sports Cards sells them for 11 or 12 bucks.
July 5, 200620 yr Go to the game and try to get one. I wouldn't pay over 10 bucks for a ball when they use hundreds of balls every game.
July 5, 200620 yr The game/practice balls are rubbed down with mud before being used, and unfortunately it causes the signature to fade over time, more rapidly than the sig's that are on the balls that you buy in the cubes from Sports Authority or Target.
July 5, 200620 yr Of all the people in the world to worry about spending an extra $4 on a couple of baseballs, it's the guy with the Subaru STI, more sports memoribilia than the All-Star Cafe, and more guns than an armory at a US Army base. C'mon, just sack up and spend the extra $4 somewhere. All it means is one less Wendy's meal this week.

I actually sold 99% of all my sports memorabilia to put towards the down payment on my STI, basically the only memorabilia I kept was stuff with sentimental value and all Marlins/Panthers stuff, and I don't eat fast food :thumbup
