New York Daily News: "Mike Pelfrey's major-league debut may come this weekend against the Marlins - whether or not Pedro Martinez overcomes hip inflammation and can make a start before the All-Star break."

Got this off of another messageboard, thought everyone might like to hear it. I would love to beat down the met's young little ace so badly he has to go back to A ball for work :lol

article for the story

Top prospect Mike Pelfrey could get a chance to start one of Saturday's doubleheader games against the Marlins.

Pelfrey could get a start if Pedro Martinez is unable to pitch again before the All-Star break. The Mets have already told MLB officials that Pelfrey isn't available for next week's futures game due to a pending major league assignment . If the Mets give Pelfrey a chance he is someone to add in NL-only leagues.
