July 3, 200620 yr NBA Notebook: Nowitzki takes some shots at Cuban Sunday, July 02, 2006 From wire dispatches On the day that Dallas guard Jason Terry removed himself from the free-agent marketplace by agreeing to a six-year contract for an undisclosed amount and No. 1 draft pick Maurice Ager signed for undisclosed terms, reports of superstar Dirk Nowitzki's rare public criticism of Mavericks owner Mark Cuban surfaced. While appearing at a Mavericks-sponsored summer camp at a suburban Dallas high school Friday, Nowitzki called for more "control" from Cuban when dealing with NBA officials, adding that the owner's boorish behavior isn't in the team's best interests. Nowitzki's comments came 10 days after the Mavericks fell to Miami in the NBA Finals, a series in which Cuban's antics often became the focus and were generally recognized as a distraction within team circles. "Do I think it's a bit much sometimes? Yeah," Nowitzki said. "He's got to learn how to control himself as well as the players do. He's got to improve in that area and not yell at the officials the whole game." In an e-mail response yesterday, Cuban said he did not take offense to Nowitzki's concerns and that he has talked to his franchise player about these issues in the past. "The game starts, and he's already yelling at [the officials]," said Nowitzki. "He needs to learn how to control himself a little better. If somebody's in your ear constantly ... I'd be [ticked] off if I were an official." http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/06183/702831-275.stm

I'm not really sure why this means "trouble in Dallas"
