Toronto...

Featured Replies

I see that threads about travel are all the rage now so I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for my upcoming trip. The fam and I are going to Toronto Thursday through Monday.

Any must sees?

And we're making the trip to Niagra Falls for an afternoon as well.

Niagara Falls is beautiful. I recommend you go on the Maid of the Mist and that boardwalk thing by the falls (I forgot what it is called).

Have Fun :thumbup .

Even if you don't care for hockey too much, the hockey hall of fame is a must. Its a lot of interactive stuff and its definitely the best hall of fame that I've been to for pure entertainment.

And of course the CN Tower.

ah Toronto, one of my favorite cities

yeah, CN Tower and Hockey HOF are must sees

if you have some free time you should take a walk over to Torontos City Hall and Old City Hall, which are across the street from each other. The styles of the 2 buildings are totally different and represents Toronto becoming a more modern city

even if you have a car, walking is the way to go. there is an underground mall underneath most of the city that you should check out

check out SkyDome. it may not be anything special anymore, but its still a good place to watch a game. Maple Leaf Gardens is also worth a look

Make sure you bring an American flag or two. When you go to Niagra Falls, do me a favor and lower the flag on the Canadian side and put the American flag up in its place. Thanks in advance. :thumbup

Sure thing, dude.

Thanks guys.

Is the hockey HOF pricey?

Definitely, the CN Tower and SkyDome. One's next to the other, so why not both?

The World's Biggest Bookstore (I wonder if it still is).

The Toronto Islands.

I went in 1989; the people were extremely nice, and the city streets very, very clean.

I wish they'd do that over here so I could watch you blow up about it.

i think now the largest is a B&N in new york

CN Tower, Rogers Centre (new Skydome), if you have time the JetBoat Tours, it's about an hour drive from Toronto. We did it a few weeks ago when we were in Toronto, it was awesome, it's this big boat that goes through class-6 rapids, it's soo much fun. You get very wet. It also is a tour. You go by a few forts from the civil war. it was rated the #3 best thing to do in toronto in the magazine I read in the airplane.
