We suppose this meant Ronny Cedeno will move to second, opening up short for Izturis. It should be baseball's worst offensive middle infield. Rotoworld

The deal requires the commissioner's approval because it involves a cash transaction of more than $1 million going from the Cubs to the Dodgers. No word yet on the return. This will push either Chad Billingsley or Aaron Sele, probably Billingsley, out of the rotation. Source: FOXSports.com If it is only for Izturis, that is a great deal for the Dodgers. I don't think Izturis will ever become more than a great utility infielder.

Prediction: the Dodgers won't win that division. They're four games back and, as you pointed out, not looking too hot at the moment. But you never know. The Padres won this division last year only 2 games above 500 (82-80).
