August 14, 200619 yr Ok I'm in a big time 12-team money league (been playing for 5 years). I've won only once but got 2nd and 4th before also.....anyway, I have drawn the 1st pick this year. Do I take Johnson or Alexander? Is it just me that thinks Alexander will have a bigger year than Johnson? Alexander plays on a better team (super bowl calibar). Alexander is the reigning MVP (even though Johnson had a big year- what if its a one year wonder?). Alexander is the most consistant RB in fantasy over the past few years. Also, Admin Johnson must learn a new offense and has a new head coach. Johnson has lost Willie Roaf at tackle and an all pro FB Tony Richardson to block for him. Seattle has gotten Nate Burleson to make their offense even more impressive....... Tough call but I would go with Alexander..... What do you guys think?
August 14, 200619 yr i dunno...but shaun alexander is on the cover of madden... id got with shaun tho
August 15, 200619 yr I'm going with LT if I have first pick. Unfortunately, I have the 4th pick in my league's draft, so I'm hoping he falls to me...
August 15, 200619 yr Shaun lost a key cog on his offensive line go with Grama ma grama ma? if u want the safest pick, it's prolly LT. LJ lost willie roaf

August 15, 200619 yr If it were me, I'd be taking LJ. Dude was beyond sick last year. I don't really think there are any major question marks over him or Shaun Alexander. But I think LJ can put up numbers that might beat even Priest's best seasons.
August 15, 200619 yr Admin Johnson's numbers are going to be hurt a bit by the loss of Roaf and Herm Edward's offensive strategy. LaDainian Tomlinson, FTW.

August 29, 200619 yr Author Thanks for the help guys but I went with my gut and took Alexander. Its a heavy RB 12-team league so I Alexander, Kevin Jones, R.Bush, L.Maroney, and V.Morency. I didn't want 2 rookies but it just worked out that way. In the 4th and 5th rounds, I was thrilled to grab Roy Williams and Donald Driver.
