August 21, 200620 yr Not the worst, but stat wise yes. Gomes can play but he's slumping big time. Upton hasn't been in the bigs too long The worst are the MLB Vets are Branyan, Perez, Hollins, and Paul The other guys can at least develop and amount to something. Crawford must be lonely down there.

August 21, 200620 yr Gomes apparently has a shoulder injury that has been hampering his swing for most of the year. Some of the fan base is upset that the club hasn't forced him to have surgery on it yet because he insists on playing through it. I think he can be a top power hitter and its a shame his season has gone the wrong way since he was on fire early.
