September 11, 200619 yr JJ needs to come back big from his last outing. This is a key start for him. Anibal has the emotional composure to avoid a letdown after his no-hitter. Olsen should be pissed after last week's loss. He deserved the W but served up the jacks to Baseball's hotest hitter. He still should have walked away with the win. He will make sure he does this week!
September 11, 200619 yr Can't believe no one has mentioned this but Perez is coming off a 9 inning SHUTOUT. While Josh is coming off his first bad start in a long while. The matchups are still favorable, but that one game is deceiving. EDIT Also, Williams has gone 3-0 over 25 innings in his last 4 starts with just 9 ER's

September 11, 200619 yr Numbers can be VERY deceiving. Oliver's ERA is high because of how bad he was with the pirates. Something must have worked down in the Met's AAA, look at the results of his first start since his return from AAA: 9.0 IP - 5 Hits - 1 BB - 6k's Williams also gets a LOT of run support and hasn't given up more then 3 runs since before his return in August which was all the way back in May. We also don't know which Glavine we are seeing, he didn't give up a single run to the Dodgers offence in his last outing
