gives you many more options in getting that guy home.

It can take you out of a big inning. If Encarnacion gets a single there, that might end up a 3 or 4 run inning. I just say play what you think is most likely to get you the most runs, until later in the game.

depends on your goals.....

 

 

do you play for hte big inning or play to get a run and tie it up.

 

 

with willis you may only need 2 or 3 runs.

 

 

get 1 now and tie it up...worry about getting another run or 2 later.

 

 

we dont play long ball...we play small ball and manufacture runs.
