Shadez and Uggla...

Featured Replies

Shadez and Uggla have been pretty hot at the plate lately... they are right now at .290 and .293 respectively I really believe they might both end up hitting .300. That would give us the 1,2 and 3 batters in our lineup an average of .300 or better with over 100 runs scored each. That would be so awesome!

At this point I think your prediction is a little far-fetched. Dont get me wrong, if they do it would be awesome but raising your BA at least 10 points with the amount of games left is a little much. I would like it if they both finished .295.

ya, it's unlikely they'll both get to .300...i'd be happy with somewhere above .290

They would each have to close .500 for the next two weeks to raise their BA to above .300. They both have shown that they should be able to hit .300 for many seasons to come.

With the amounts of games left, calculating 4 at bats per game, Hanley would have to hit .390 and Uggla woulld need to bat at a .375 clip through the remaining games to reach .300

:confused ..I doubt it happens..and they probably won't have 4 AB's every game, due to a walk, or getting a day off.
