October 5, 200323 yr there are actually some guys with cards and pizza sitting in front of the stadium waiting for 6 AM so they'll be let in the stadium and get in line to get tickets at 12. those motherf***ers are raw as f***.... and clearly dont have internet access. i say we make them honorary members of the board. call them the sleepovers or something

October 5, 200323 yr We got 61,000 for a Friday afternoon game. We play Friday night (66,000) at 8, Saturday at 7:30 (67,000) and Sunday afternoon (67,000) at 4:00. Don't worry: We won't get any less than that.
October 5, 200323 yr i hope we can sell the pro out every game although the prics are a little high, but we all knows the Marlins have nothing to do with that. i will personally try to make it as many games as i can, but because of my finacial situation, it only seems like 1. dang.
October 5, 200323 yr Im surprised we got 60,000 at the pro both games and Boston has its post season high this year at 35,000. That shows you how good of baseball we are playing. Notes: In the Local News they had great Marlins Coverage. You might wanna check that out at the 11:00 Local News.
October 5, 200323 yr not to take anything from what you said, but the reason there is only 35,000 tickets sold in boston a game is because thats just about how many people fenway park can hold.
October 5, 200323 yr first off....boston or chicago could of gotten 200,000 fans into their games if they had enough seating. you people act like we have the greatest fans in the world based on attendance alone. the tickets for the game yesterday in chicago were probably one of the 5 toughest tickets to get in the history of professional sports. and mikebball..you have been following the marlins since you were what 4? good job, we are proud of you.
October 5, 200323 yr Oh ok it seemed strange to me that they only had 35,000. The Stadium was packed but i didnt know they had very little seats.
October 5, 200323 yr fenway has one of the smallest capacities in baseball. wrigley also has a very small capacity compared to other stadiums.
October 5, 200323 yr But the point is that the Marlins drew sellouts for both games. The team declined to sell more tickets for logistical, safety, and fan comfort reasons.
