October 26, 200620 yr It is way too early to be doing this so far I think, but what the heck. Here is one just for fun based off of the current order. Please give me your thoughts for this, I tried to look up team needs and go off of that and BPA normally. But, like I said it is way too early and I would hugely welcome comments. I guess worst to worst it never hurts to get a general idea and all of whom might end up where and all. 1. Miami - Calvin Johnson WR GT 2. Detroit - Brady Quinn QB N.D. 3. Arizona ? Joe Thomas LT Wis 4. Oakland - Gaines Adams DE Clem 5. Tennessee ? Adrian Peterson RB Okla 6.Cleveland- Alan Branch DT Mich 7. Buffalo - Ted Ginn WR OSU 8. Washington ? Leon Hall CB Mish 9. Green Bay ? Laron Landry SS LSU 10. Houston ? Marshawn Lynch RB 11. San Francisco - Marcus McCauley CB 12. Tampa Bay ? Quentin Moses DE UG 13. Pittsburgh ? Paul Posluszny LB PSU 14. Kansas City ? Sam Baker OT USC 15. Dallas ? Levi Brown OT PSU 16. Jacksonville ? Dwayne Jerret WR USC 17. NYJ ? Jeff Samardzija WR ND 18. Philadelphia ? Frank Okam DT Tex 19. Carolina - Patrick Willis LB Mis 20. NYG - Antoine Cason CB Ari 21. St. Louis - Justin Blalock OT Tex 22. Atlanta ? Michael Griffin S Tex 23. Minnesota - Kenny Irons RB Aub 24. Baltimore - Brian Brohm QB Louisville 25. New England(from Seattle) - H.B. Blades LB Pitt 26. Cincinnati - Quinn Pitcock DT OSU 27. San Diego - Buster Davis ILB FSU 28. New Orleans - Rufus Alexander LB Okla 29. Denver ? Reggie Nelson S UF 30. New England ? Aaron rouse S VT 31. Chicago ? Zach Miller TE ASU 32. Indianapolis - Daymeion Hughes CB Cal
October 26, 200620 yr If Patrick Willis is on the board, the Eagles won't take a DT....D-Line is not a need....only big RB's and LB
October 26, 200620 yr I have my doubts about the projectability of Ted Ginn, Jr. He's short, but he could be a new Steve Smith.
October 26, 200620 yr I have my doubts about the projectability of Ted Ginn, Jr. He's short, but he could be a new Steve Smith. Isn't Ginn like 6-0 or 6-1, and isn't Smith like 5-9?
October 26, 200620 yr Teddy is 6'0 Pro Bowl WR last year: Steve Smith 5'9 Santana Moss: 5'10 Chris Chambers 5'11 Torry Holt 6'0 Marvin Harrison 6'0 Rod Smith 6'0 Chad Johnson 6'1 Admin Fitzgerald 6'3 I don't think that height will be a factor in anything. With his speed and upside (only been playing WR as his true position for three years) he's a great pick and should definitely be top 10. With that said, I don't think he will be a year 1 impact WR. He should be solid but because of his learning process at the position it may take a season. He should contribute with special teams right away though.
October 26, 200620 yr I really can't see the Titans drafting a running back - or Adrian Peterson falling to them.
October 26, 200620 yr I love Calvin Johnson, I love him, but am I the only one who'd be kind of upset to see yet another skill player taken with the first when that really hasn't been the downfall of the Dolphins?
October 26, 200620 yr I think Calvin johnson is just too good to pass up but then again most people thought the same with reggie bush
October 26, 200620 yr Author honestly I see miami trading back if that was the position but mocks with trades are always bad. so I am trying to keep away from them. But honestly I dont see miami passing up CJ, he is just too wow of a talent. Booker has 4 million cap number (all salary none bonus money) so he might be a cap casualty. take with the 1st pick of the 2nd round a top Tackle or that guard Beekman that is amazing. But, shall see it is a long way off and I hate considering this at this time of the year but figured toss it out there for folks to look at. I will link some of the professional ones in the future for everyone to consider when some come out.
October 27, 200620 yr When the Bills lose Nate Clements in FA they might go corner if they don't believe Youboty is ready; they need O-line help more than anything but I guess I could see them going for an impact WR, if Ginn will be that.
