Miss chances and one bad decision cost us the game

Featured Replies

First, the first inning shot by Alex must of been a sign of things to come, because any other night in that stadium that's a HR. He miss it by a foot.

Second, This one we can go either way with some of you BUT I would have put in Looper in the 7th against Simon, we know what happen

Third, DLee at bat in 9th was HUGE, with Borowski struggling to throw strikes, he hits the second pitch he saw with runners at 1st and 2nd with one out.

Fourth, WHY IN THE HELL IS TEJERA PITCHING AGAINST LEFTIES?!?!?!? Looper should have started the inning.

Finally, I can't blame the guy for being aggressive BUT if the ball is hit in front of you DON'T MOVE

TOO many miss opportunities.....BUT WE CAN'T GIVE UP!!!

another thing why didnt they put cabs at short and then leave hollandsworth in the game at left. is hollandsworth still prevented from playing the field due to injury? just an observation

I dont get it.. gonzo was having the game of his life. what would you wanna do that for

I want to erase yesterday from my mind so badly.

I was saying that we would clinch by sunday, and as the innings went by i started believing it more and more. and when we finally got on top i was certain.

"there's no way with 6 outs left that we will let this go"

ugghhhhh

im really happy for Alex, i hope he maintains it. Todd has been huge for us lately. Pudge keeps on leading the way for us.

All players are doing an excellent job. It was just bad luck that Chad got hit hard 2 times in a row.

if we keep on playing the way we are, we are going to win the series.

Oh i also wanted to present a thought

would anybody consider Pavano pitching on Sunday instead of Beckett, using penny as a reliever, and Beckett pitching on Tuesday ?

I was thinking the same thing, Would be a good idea so that we have beckett to go Against Prior in game six.

of course for us to do that we would have to win today first.

i was saying that too

yeah concentrate on Clement and Zambrano First.

But itll be a surprise if today or tomorrow Penny comes out of the bullpen to relieve.

Im not saying that Pavano is a sure thing either, no pitcher is a sure thing...but Penny hasnt composed himself
