  1. The three starting pitchers that have joined the team in the last month or so (Volstad, JJ, and Anibal) are arguably much better than our two Aces this season, Nolasco and Olsen. This will become the rotation to beat from here on out.
  2. Start investing in Biofuels and Oil alternatives guys China's sucking the world dry out of oil, and they are the main cause for 138.50 a barrel

  6. October 21, 1997 at Jacobs Field (Cleveland Indians) Team 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E Florida 1 0 1 1 0 2 2 0 7 14 16 3 Cleveland 2 0 0 3 2 0 0 0 4 11 10 3 W: Dennis Cook (1-0) L: Eric Plunk (0-1) S: Robb Nen (2) HR: FLA ? Gary Sheffield (1), Darren Daulton (1), Jim Eisenreich (1) CLE ? Jim Thome (2) Game 3 was a wild affair that ended with the Marlins grabbing a 2-1 series lead. In the top of the 1st, Gary Sheffield started the scoring with a solo shot to left. In the bottom half, the Indians retaliated with two runs thanks to two broken bat RBI singles by Matt Williams and Sandy Alomar. Florida took the lead 3-2 on a Darren Daulton homer in the 3rd and four walks allowed by Indians starter Charles Nagy in the 4th. However, the Indians got a gift in the bottom of the 4th, when they drew four consecutive free passes from Marlins starter Al Lieter, and then a throwing error by third baseman Bobby Bonilla allowed two more runs to score. The Tribe went up 7-3 on Jim Thome's 2-run blast to right in the 5th inning. His homerun was nullified in the 6th by Jim Eisenreich's 2 run homer that cut the lead to 7-5. In the 8th, the Marlins finished their comeback with Edgar Renteria and Sheffield each driving in a run, making the score 7-7. In the 9th, it all fell apart for Cleveland thanks to three errors and seemingly one hit after another by the Marlins, with Bonilla and Sheffield driving in a pair of runs each. When the carnage was over the Marlins led 14-7. Even though the Indians came back with 4 runs of their own in the 9th, it was not enough. AND NOW, 10 YEARS LATER, YOUR 2007 FLORIDA MARLINS!!!Pitching Matchups Lee 2-4, 6.31 VS Kim 3-2, 5.74 Rally Pic of the Game
  7. I'm heading out in about an hour, but I'm worried about the top left cell of rain that is coming down. You can see it in the link that Holly posted. Anyone know if that cell could affect us? Cause if it doesn't it seems clear for the rest of the night
  8. October 18, 1997 at Pro Player Stadium (Florida Marlins) Team 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 R H E Cleveland 1 0 0 0 1 1 0 1 0 4 11 0 Florida 0 0 1 4 2 0 0 0 x 7 7 1 W: Livan Hernandez (1-0) L: Orel Hershiser (0-1) S: Robb Nen (1) HR: CLE ? Manny Ramirez (1), Jim Thome (1) FLA ? Moises Alou (1), Charles Johnson (1) Game 1 featured a youngster and a veteran facing each other on the mound. Fresh off his NLCS MVP performance, Livan Hernandez took the hill for the Marlins and quickly gave up a run in the 1st thanks to a double by leadoff man Bip Roberts and an RBI single by David Justice. Indian starter Orel Hershiser got by the first two innings unscathed. However, after the Marlins tied the game in the 3rd they scored 4 runs in the 4th. The inning climaxed when Moises Alou and Charles Johnson hit back-to-back homers (Alou's was a three run shot off the left field foul pole). The Fish added two in the 5th to knock Orel out of the game. The Indians crept back in the game slowly thanks to solo shots by Manny Ramirez and Jim Thome and entered the 9th inning down only 7-4. Florida closer Robb Nen came in and was able to get out of a jam by striking out Sandy Alomar and Thome with two men aboard. AND NOW, 10 YEARS LATER, YOUR 2007 FLORIDA MARLINS!!! Pitching Matchups Carmona 7-1, 3.11 VS Olsen 4-5, 5.27 Rally Pic of the Game

    Your favorite CD's

These are extremely difficult to do. I'll just list a few faves, but not necessarily the "greatest albums" ever. The Cure - Disentigration. Catherine Wheel - Chrome. i could go on forever about this album. Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual. tough choice between this & Nothing's Shocking. Interpol - Turn On The Bright Lights The Futureheads (self-titled) Can't get this one out of my cd player. I would include a U2 & REM album but I simply can't pick only one & I hate listing "Greatest Hits" CDs. Good Ish Hotcorner!!!! The Futureheads new album, News and Tributes, just came out in the U.K., im really hooked to their single, Skip to the End....the whole album is alot harder than the first one, but the songs are a bit longer Oh by the way, now im reminded that I owe you bloc party videos lol, oh and I saw interpol live at club revolution a year ago =D ( I have video of that as well!!)

  14. Wow. I never knew this day would come.
  15. In regards to the animated gif video that was posted a few comments back I didnt know planes left a trail of white smoke.
  16. Alright, if in fact a 737 or 747 crashed into the pentagon, then why were some of the parts found such as the jet engine turbine and some other metallic part so much smaller than what it should be of a huge commercial jet ? Why do the measurements and the specifications of those parts found match exactly one of a small, one man jet fighter and not of a commercial airliner ? I think the link cgator provided was very telling... That's what has me most confused. As for the missiles on the jet that crashed into the WTC...That could have been photoshopped or something, right? And the smaller explosions on lower floors...although it's still very intriguing The explanation that the page that was linked has even more holes than anything i've read so far. Explain the secondary, smaller explosions (And they looked like they were exploding, or being set off, in sequence) that were happening 40-60 floors below where the plane crashed, right near the structural supports of the WTC ? I highly doubt that both towers fell due to "Intense weight and heat" for about 40 min. Also, the collapsing of the nearby building 7 is very shoddy.
  17. Was this the one where Utley was safe? No way, Utley was out by a half second. :lol Quit drinking the Kool Aid. Regardless, the fact it was so close at all makes it a nice play. Did you even watch the replay? He was out. They showed the replay on BBTN and paused it right when Utley stepped on the bag...The ball was hopping right when utley stepped on first, he was safe. Amazing play though
  18. Yeah, To me it seemed that the guy on the video's nose was not the same as Bin Laden's, Beard formation is also different LOL. But definetely it didnt look like him
  19. Well, in the video loose change, what really caught my attention above all were 1. Why was that side of the pentagon that was hit the only side that was built with double reinforced steel or something like that, and Rumsfeld was kept far out of harms way, in the other side of the pentagon. This could have been something years in the making. 2. The explosions in the WTC, right as the building began collapsing, multiple explosions in the lower level floors, and notice how abrupt and wild jet fuel explosions were compared to supposed bombs planted which caused the clean, uniform secondary explosions on the lower levels one more thing, It seems that the "Hi-Jackers" were employed as mercenaries to do this job by the government or NSA, obviously making sure that they were of Middle Eastern heritage. METAL GEAR SOLID HAD IT RIGHT!!!!! ITS THE DAMN PATRIOTS RUNNING THE WORLD!!
  20. Ya, I saw that on filecabi. Funny. Is there such thing as a black irish man? Shaquille O'neal
