The Florida Marlins have already announced that Miguel Cabera is their 3B next year . They announced it before Mike Lowell was hurt. They called up Cabera and put him in left field to get some Major League AB befpre next year. When Lowell was hurt the plan was accelerated. Lowell is definately on the market. The Cubs wanted him but got Arimus Rameriz cheaper.

Wishful thinking...

as we all know, Lowell is here for at least next season and it truly doesnt matter what position Miggy plays...

Lowell will be back next season. As for Miguel, maybe the bandwagon jumpers will get their wish and move him to short for next year.

Thats B.S.

Lowell will come back next season. We needed that production when he was here and we will need it against next season

that link is so questionable that there's no way i'd believe it. it was taken from a message board post!! we'd know it if lowell was officially on the block. no dumba$$ devil rays fan would know before us

He won't play short, I can guarantee as much.

And I doubt he would play right.

Why?

Gonzalez and Encarnacion are too damn good defensively to throw out an unexperienced guy in his place.

And Conine will be starting at first, because Lee won't be back.

Wishful thinking... Come on. For God's sake, he grossly misspelled Aramis Ramirez. That guy doesn't know his a** from a hole in the ground.

Aaahhh - that sounds like music to my ears "Lee won't be back...."

I can't wait to not have to look at him suck at the plate except for September. I still can't even BELIEVE that he was allowed to remain in the all-important clean-up spot during the playoffs while batting .167. Nice coaching.

PATHETIC. And good riddance.
