Derek Lee hits 4th because he has great power to all fields and hits well with RISP.

good thing he uses those "tools" when it counts

but Ramp D Lee was a #1 prospect "potential" 50 homerun guy blah blah blah hes oh so good...

D Lee would never be able to drive a stick shift because "CLUTCH" makes no sense to him.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well is not D.Lee fault that he is batting in wrong spot in the batting order ...

Yo Ramp ....

Kinda sounds familiar doesn't it? :whistle

DLee is the best 1st basemen in history and the most clutch hitter on the fish.

DLee is the best 1st basemen in history and the most clutch hitter on the fish. Derek Lee is right up their with the best of them, Conine, Bonilla, Alou, Sheffield, Renteria, Counsell, and then you Have Derek the clutch man Lee. The thing that PISSES the PHUCK out of me is his quote in the paper. I have talked about this numerous times but man it just pisses me off. If they did't know he sucked in the Clutch they knew it after reading that quote.

BTW. I believe CABS should be our #4.

I don't get me the crap about putting too much preassure on a 20 year old.

I agree, he is one of the few who likes it with RISP. This is one of Mckeon's few mistakes

one of mckeon's few mistakes? he threw Tejera at 2 left handed batters last night, despite the fact that lefties hit .400 against him!! i'm still SO PISSED about that game!!!! that hit was their winning run! :banghead

why is it that Encarnacion gets benched but Lee gets a slide? He's done JACK and SQUAT this entire postseason except for that monumental homer with the Marlins down 12-0 in Game 2.

Oh, and our pitching sucks.

After Beckett wins tomorrow, I'm all for throwing Carl Pavano out there in Game 6. Then Redman can pitch another gem & win Game 7 for us. See how easy that was? :cool

yea, Im pretty ticked about the fact Enc sits against a person who hangs pitches but DLee gets to start...

maybe tomorrow things will change

DLee gets all these breaks because of his D (though Miguel not being used to right cost us 2 runs). Damn it already he needs to be hitting 5th, or 6th, or s*** even 7th. Put DLee and Alex back to back, maybe one of them will get something to hit.

Because we really don't have a clean up hitter. DLee did ok in the 6 hole, which is where he belongs. He doesn't have that killer instinct of a 4 hitter. Lowell did a pretty good job there when he was healthy, until the all star break, but struggled after that. Cabrera is the closeset thing to a clean up hitter on the team right now, but you can't stick a 20 year old kid in the 4 hole. Can you? Hmmm....maybe if your back is to the wall. Or maybe stick Conine back in there. At least he's hitting.

That whole team didn't come to play last night. And now they are one game away from elimination.

I hope that they've had time to look within themselves and figure out what the hell is going on. Otherwise they are way to another offseason.

I'll be proud of them win or lose for the way they played this season, but they have to show me more heart than they did last night!! :confused

atleast they brought their wood today....

oh wait...

AGAIN THEY FORGOT

Now take it easy Ramp, Derrek only left 5 men on base....

Even when he hits a ball hard like in his last AB, it turns out bad & wound up a double-play. And Sea Bass continues to stink.

I think things might be different if Jack had moved guys around during the season. (Trying Conine at 1B, Cabs at SS, etc.) But as it stands, I don't think you'll see either one of those moves made.

I might do things differently if it were me, but with Prior pitching, it'll likely be a low scoring game & Trader Jack will go for defense first.
