The way you typed your last message made it seem like you thought so. You're basing your mindless opinions on spring training and spring training only. Either you really are that simple minded or you just want attention that bad. I myself think its the latter.

If Gonzalez is platooning while Hermida is down, it will likely be of Borchard/De Aza in right and Reed in CF.

does this sound familiar oh yea refer to my lineup :kicknutz at the beginning of this post

Loathe as I am to be seen in agreement on the issue, not assigning the starting job to Reed, if it's between him and DeArza, could only be taken by him as the organization washing their hands of him, the kiss of death if you will.

For that reason, assuming no one else comes aboard in the next 48+/- hours (Rodriguez didn't indicate what time on Weds Fredi would set his roster) I think it's Reed.

I hope Reed starts in CF on Opening Day.

But I hope Fredi keeps a real short leash. No 6 week experiments. Reed has to come out of the gate guns a blazin. He has to get on base and not look lost like last year with the bat.

There is a lot to be said about a solid glove in spacious CF.

I hope Reed starts in CF on Opening Day.

Agreed, but while there should be no 6 week experiments, he also should be getting the start 6 days a week. Last year, PJ(Punch and Judy) got 40 at bats over 42 games. That stinks.

I haven't seen him play this Spring so I can't say for sure, but it seems that for a 'solid glove' as you all always say, Reed has quite some errors out there.
