For now... I have come over to the dark side...

when Enc was struggling, I put his face on my avatar....

Look who is there now... the one, the only, Derrek Lee...

I have complete faith in him.... he WILL deliver vs Mark Prior and Kerry Wood

come on big fella... you wanna make the big dough?....

The Stage is yours Derrek....

I also want D Lee to do well. I believe he has what it takes to beat Prior/Wood, especially in combination with our other fabulous hitters. he just needs to find it again and use it.

The Marlins are going to need EVERYBODY if they expect to win 2 in a row at Wrigley against Prior and Wood. I think they will step up, but key situations seem to find struggling players, so i'm guessing the Marlins are going to need DLee to come up with a clutch hit or 2 if they want to win this series.

Hey whatever it take for Derreck to hit the ball when it counts.

Derrek at least hit the last couple of balls hard in Game 5. I thought both were going for hits, and I thought he'd knocked in our first run. Big glove tonight, too. Nonetheless, we are going to need something in the way of actual production from Games 6 and 7.

Yeah, he hit what should have been a gapper right before Mikey hit his bomb but Kenny was playing him perfectly.

D-Lee needs something...ANYTHING to get him out of this major funk that he's in. If the Marlins are going to have any chance against Prior, they are going to need D-Lee to swing the bat like he was doing all season long.

You can't always count on Pudge or Mike Lowell, or Conine and Cabs, you need everyone(including Gonzalez) to step it up and really stick it to him tomorrow night.

And Carl Pavano MUST pitch the game of his life!

Lee just needs to hold his bat and not swing wildly. Same with Sea Bass.

Prior and Wood get alot of people swinging not looking. They fool people and don't throw pure strikes like Beckett did yesterday.

Don't turn those nasty balls into strikes by swinging at them.

I feel the same thing. Lee is about to break out of his slump, you can just feel it. Look at the way he was hitting balls yesterday. Good swings, just right at people. I still think he is going to bust open at Wrigley, maybe it was not just when we were there in games 1-2. But we need him now, most certainly...

...and you all know D Lee is a late bloomer...

You know what? **** negativity!!! You are right! D-Lee will have an excellent Game 6 and will be the hero tomorrow night when we most need him!!! :thumbup

If Derrek can just take the ball the other way, just drop the ball in for a base hit, he will start something.

people thought i was crazy on Saturday, when they announced him in the intro's i was screaming out "C'mon Derrek, this is your night, your going to come up big" and i noticed the people behind look at me i was crazy but i kept saying the same everytime he stepped to the plate, did the same s*** yesterday.

he's finally going to come through tommorow, i feel it.

but to be sure how about we get him a live chicken to sacrifice in the clubhouse... non of that KFC s*** though
