And he's got a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 4th.

...and he was perfect through 4.

And another note, I seriously think NESN juices their radar gun, I never saw Josh throw a 95 MPH 2 seamer here, and I never missed one of his starts.

Absolutely no good karma has come from this thread.

:lol

I may dislike the Red Sox, but I'd never say a bad thing about Beckett.

5 K's now...god I miss him.

Stupid Jason Kendall.

This thread blows. :lol

What's his ERA?

What's his ERA?

2.45 entering the game.

Nothing like Langerhans coming up for the final out after a rough inning.

Wow, Lowell just smashed Piazza on that tag. Hope he's okay.

Wish we could of kept Big Tex and somehow still got Hanley. Wouldnt of happened, but it would of been great.

Although one has to wonder if he would of ever gave us the cheap going rate on an extension that he gave Boston.

Josh was my favorite player when he was here. I hope he wins 20+ games this year

and gets the A.L. Cy Young.

Nice, O picks up Beckett and he is back in line for the win.

My favorite player from the Marlins too. Was at his first ever game and remember his development way back from his High School days. The guy is a beast. Thank goodness we got a star back for him in Hanley, or I would never have been able to get over that trade.

Still root for the Yankees over the Red Sox though. :thumbup

So is the early return on Piazza a dislocated shoulder?

I'd say it (sadly) has to be.

No way around that play though for either player really.

This game is excruciating.

K to end the 7th.

Lordy I miss him.

Eh, we could have used more then that. Definitely needed the 8 innings. Some bad walks that game but all in all solid.

I don't have a good feeling at all for how this one will end up.

Damn you Tito for using Okajima yet again.

:lol

Ugliest play ever.

:lol

Kendall can't even throw people out 6 feet away from them.

When did the Red Sox shift Brandon Moss to 2B?

When did the Red Sox shift Brandon Moss to 2B?

Must just be something temporary because Moss is definitely an OFer and a projected 4th OFer for the big club in probably late 2008/2009.

Ridiculous catch by Crisp.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand he got it!

I hate the Red Sox and all, but I love seeing Beckett do well. I was a fan of the trade that sent to Boston, but I knew he'd probably be an elite pitcher in Boston.

I have no problems with Josh Beckett, I hope he does well as well.

I am still in the air with Mike Lowell. He was my favorite player when he was here and his dad is my dentist, however the trade looks better for us of he doesnt play well.

I do hope AJ Burnett fails big time

You should definatly pull for Lowell. The trade will be good for us regardless of how he did because we got the almighty Hanley.

I'm with on AJ though, I hope he blows out his arm. Guy's way too much of a douchebag.
