Admin
If he gets rocked after I made room for him after all the collar popping you have done over him... you, junior, will receive a good old fashioned dropkick. I kid, I was going to add him earlier, when it was him or Gallardo...turns out, I ended up with both.
Passion
Tough lineup to get your feet wet with.
Junior
Tough lineup to get your feet wet with. That's exactly what I was thinking. I actually think we called him up alittle soon. I would have waited another 5-10 starts before I called him up. That being said, I hope he does as we all expect him too. A Harang/Arroyo/Homer 3 punch would be sweet. METSrosexual
I drafted Bailey in the 24th round of my fantasy draft. Hope he pans out.
Junior
And Homer gets the W!
Hanleylicious
Awesome to see, Congrats to Homer. I followed on Gameday, looked like he struggled a little bit, but battled well and put in a QS. I assume you were able to watch it, Junior? How did his stuff/velocity look?
Junior
He has issues with command, but it was expected. He'll struggle with that for awhile, but he will improve. His stuff was great. He throws two fastballs (one at 94-96, one at 88-89), but he has such a long stride he's right on top of the hitters. He has a nasty curve at about 70, but strugles commanding it at this point. Also has a change at about 82, 5 IP, 5 H, 4 BB, 3 K, 2 ER. It probably only should have been 1 ER too but Hopper missed a cutoff man. Threw 114 pitches, so obviously command was an issue. All in all, I was impressed. He battled, and got a W against a tough lineup. He obviously isn't perfect, but he'll improve. He has such a great mentality too, such a competator. In the 5th, up 2-1, bases loaded, on his last pitch of the night he paints the black with a 94 MPH heater. The whole stadium, and team went nuts. It was awesome. Admin
He was leaving that curve up in the zone for the duration for his start. Just by looking at it it was a nice curve, just needs to keep it down. If I were Narron Id try to keep him from using it too much until his jitters subside.

He got away with 2 really bad hangers. One to Hafner which resulted in a single, and one to Barfield which ended up in Dunn's glove at the wall. He has to throw it, it's the only way it's going to improve.
Admin
I agree, I just wouldnt throw it too much while he still has the butterflies in his stomach. Maybe let him throw it at his discretion, but no more than twice to each batter he faces per game unless he is locating it really well. Admin
I didnt get credit for Baileys start friday in my H2H league until today. It showed up in his player box, just wasnt being calculated into my weekly totals. I was going to get ticked, because of Capuano I needed a decent performance to try and balance it out.
