if it wasnt for a the comeback on friday night, we would have been swept. i cant stand losing a game the day before an off day.

Tampa's got some talent, and if not for an absolutely atrocious bullpen, would be above .500 right now... they can play. Their top of the rotation of Shields and Kazmir is very formidable and they can really hit.

 

Not that bad of a series loss.

And now Sonnanstine and Howell, to go along with the top of Shields and Kazmir. Their rotation is shaping up well. Niemann might be up by the end of the year.

 

They just need to spend some money on bullpen arms this offseason, and they could compete next year.
