MiRi
Yea, I love when we catch awesome pics like that. And the look on the Philly fan's face is freaking funny. When I saw him walk down to his seat with the bag, I was like, "WTF?" Some chic went up to him, I don't know if to ask him for some or to ask how he got the bag. They gave her popcorn and stuck it all in her purse and then some in her boobs. :lol
CTMarlinsfan
those guys were awesome (The Phillies fans)...how did they get that popcorn in and why can't they keep it?
Maxx
those guys were awesome (The Phillies fans)...how did they get that popcorn in and why can't they keep it? They didn't get it in. Those guys were there the whole game, that guy left at one point and came back in with the bag. I have no clue where he got it. All I know is after that security guard talked to him, he walked out with the bag and came back without it and only a handful of popcorn in his hand. MarlinFan10
I am quite hung up on the third pic. I don't understand how he got that much popcorn into the stadium, why he would want to do so, or why a Philly fan would even go to a game not involving the Phillies when he could've just stayed home and ate popcorn while watching the Phillies. Oh well, I guess that's what I should expect from Philly phans.

Its probably so people will look at them and go "hey, why the hell is that guy wearing a Mets (or in this case, Phillies) hat?!" I guess it's working. I know this may be real difficult for South Florida fans to understand so I will make myself available to explain it during the series vs the Pirates this week. This week end I will probably be a little busy talking baseball with Atlanta fans. But here goes. They are baseball fans that enjoy the atmosphere of a MLB game instead of just sitting at home on a week end and vegging out in front of a TV. Know what they are most likely saying? "Our team isn't even playing and yet here we are at the games with about 15K other people. Oh well. I guess that's what I should expect from a Marlins fan." SHUfishfan
The Bag of popcorn is from the vendors they take all the unused popcorn at the end of the day and throw it in one garbage bag and put it in front of the trash can usually in the 102-103 area, so they took it and im guessing taking it is now illegal even though i know people that have taken it before and have also taken the cotton candy bag like that and didn't have any trouble. MiRi
Well, I can't say much about other team fans going to a baseball game where their team isn't playing. I have done that in Atlanta. I was visiting and I wanted to take Max to Turner Field so we ended up watching the Braves vs. Mets and we wore our Marlins stuff. They were probably just visiting and wanted to just go to a game. They weren't really bothering anyone, so no big deal.

Well that answers where they got it. I have no clue why they'd get in trouble for it though.

I respectfully tip my hat to a baseball fan that actually gets off his/her butt and goes to a game for the simple pleasure of being at an MLB game. I find it amazing and disgustingly telling that South Florida "fans" would question and ridicule those that do.
BroncoBob27
may be bag too big to be in stand I would imagine they would get some heat from it for one reason. They are taking away potential sales. What is questionable is why whoever puts the bag out there dosen't walk a little further and throw it down the chute into the dumpster.
