DcFishFan
Linden's HR in the ninth was the Marlins' 100 home run on the year. The Fish now rank fourth in the league in taters, trailing the Phils (104), Brewers (124), and Reds (126). Unfortunately, all the swinging for the fences has come at a cost: the Marlins lead the NL in strikeouts, topping out at 736 on the year. The Padres, second in the NL, have nearly 60 fewer Ks. All of which leads to one conclusion: Fire Bill Robinson.
CYmarlins
lol well its nice to be able to get the long ball when needed, but im hoping that year after year the strikeout total can be reduced.

MarlinFan10
I'm not really a fan of having a lot of homeruns with a sh*t ton of strikeouts.
sgleason02
yeah, because when someone does finally hit a HR, there's no one on base for him to drive in...does anyone have the stat on how many of our 100 HR's have been solo shots?
