I would be shocked if they aren't. Mets fans probably somehow hate the Yankees even more than us White sox fans hate the Cubs.

Mets fans are rooting for the Marlins from what I've seen so far.

the chicago white sox fans rooted for us when we played the chicago cubs.

so to the NY Met fans will be rooting for us when we play the NY Yankees.

IMO, he is a rare case. Most met fans will be rooting for you guys. IMO, I don't understand how any self respecting sox fan could have rooted for the cubs in the playoffs, or how any self respecting mets fan could root for the yankees in the playofs.

Cubs and White Sox are intense rivals, but it seems everytime I go see the Metropolitans in Pro Player, 60% of the crowd is rooting for the Mets with Yankees hats.

Mets fans seem more likely to root for the Yankees, than White Sox fans cheering for the Cubs.

A lot of Cub 'fans' I've overheard (I try not to talk to them) said stuff like when they were playing Atlanta "We'll sweep this series in 4 games" (best of 5) and when they took a 2-1 lead last Friday over the Marlins some idiot said "That's it Cubbies, ONE MORE!" So, Cub 'fans' think the first round is best of 7 and the 2nd round is best of 5 that's how smart they are. That's why when I saw "Marlins in 4,5,6, or 7 I found it funny because a Cubs fan can't even get THAT right!
