I guess Fredi liked what he saw with Olivo in the 6spot last night

I just pulled this line-up out of a hat (as seen on The Bronx is Burning):

Ramirez

Amezaga

Willingham

Cabrera

Uggla

Hermida

Jacobs

Olivo

Pitcher

So my hat was able to get it better than Fredi.

from floridamarlins.com

Hermida batting eighth: The absence of Ramirez leading off has factored into where Jeremy Hermida hits in the lineup.

For the second straight game Hermida was batting eighth, instead of his usual sixth spot.

Alfredo Amezaga has been leading off, and Hermida is currently eighth.

Amezaga normally bats eighth when Ramirez is in the leadoff spot.

Hermida likely will move back to sixth once Ramirez returns.

"I like his plate discipline in the eighth hole," Gonzalez said. "In the eighth spot, you get pitched around a lot."

Since Hermida draws his share of walks, the team wants him in that spot instead of a free swinger like Miguel Olivo, who has walked seven times all year.

Hermida has walked 29 times.

great job fredi, hit olivo 6th because he sucks at hitting 8th, that makes a lot sense
