August 3, 200718 yr Author It's not even worth b!tching about Benitez this whole year's just been a series of unfortunate events and by forcing our mistakes (Benitez) to be the set up man no matter how many games he blows. luckily he'll be gone next year and hopefullyBeinfest won't go after any washed up veterans (Julio, Benitez).

I'll agree here - I'd rather just go with a younger (cheaper and more long-term) bullpen then keep trying to fish out arms with one good year left. we've won that crapshoot a few times, but it is time to move on. That said, it's not all on Benitez. We had opportunities to score, that we didn't take (as usual), and when you are in a game where you see that many innings from the opposing pen (including a whole IP from Julio), you should be able to score more than 3 runs total.
