yes there is

just checked it myself. interesting.

but i knew those stats were in olivo's favor. fredi just can't hit someone, who has such poor trips to the plate, cleanup.

Moyer owns us.

You thought it was Jeffrey Loria. You were misinformed.

Before tonight, he has made 2 starts vs us this year.

why not switch it up? worst case scenario we lose again to him?

i agree with that. but doesn't the way that fredi switches it up make you concerned about his cognitive functioning?

More like I want Presley's head on a stick after that.

We can't beat Moyer, we've never been able to beat Moyer and it's getting to the point where no amount of money is a foolish bet against us (damn you Bodog). At some point, you have to question the preparedness of the team. That comes down to coaching.

No

it's not like he has Hanley and Cabs batting 8/9 in the lineup

And who would you rather bat 4th?

Ross is the only one you can make an arguement for over Olivo, and in which case, there isn't much of a difference between hitting 4th and 5th for one game.

hanley

hermida

yeah. but that's a hell of a position to "succeed" that fredi put them in

jesus christ

it's one f***ing game where Olivo happens to fit in perfectly for a 3-4-5 hitter. He owns Moyer. He owns Citizen's Bank Park. He owns finesse pitchers. He owns lefties. He probably owns the Phillies too.

it's one f***ing game where Fredi tried to catch lightning in a bottle.

More like I want Presley's head on a stick after that.

Lets fire Kranitz too if Howard, Utley and Matt Diaz continue to pwn us. Clearly the pitchers aren't preparing properly against those guys.

Woah.

More like we consistently fail against soft-tossing lefties. If there's a pattern of complete ineptitude, shouldn't the man in charge be responsible.

And, yeah, let's fire Kranitz too, but I'd fire him more because of the rotating door between our clubhouse and Dr. Andrews' office.

okay, but its not just one night. fredi has been garbage for an entire season.

i take that as amusement? i really don't know.

but that's the truth. tonight was just one night. piled on top of many many other nights in which he's made very poor managerial decisions, regardless of how hurt the starting pitching or tired the bullpen was. aw, poor fredi. boo hoo.

  • Author

and the only reason that fredi doesn't face multiple charges of lineup fiasco in the 1st degree is "no ex post facto law."

Olivo batting 4th made a bit of sense in this case, tonight only. Except that Olivo shouldn't ever start after an off day, because he should be our back up catcher. Make him eat double headers and day games.

It means if it's not one thing, it's another with you and your Fredi vendetta

I can only imagine what would have happened if Olivo would have "lucked" into one tonight

i don't have a fredi vendetta. its more of a vendetta against idiots, if anything. and olivo did luck into one tonight. he should have gidp in the first just like in arizona when he was moved up but uggla saved him. and as i've said before, i disagree with just about every decision fredi makes, though its difficult to post every time he makes a decision. and i don't wanna start a fredi thread every night so i try to pick the ridiculously egregious ones or the ones that make me think fredi has zero grey matter.

You're an idiot. You came on asking if everyone else was worried about Fredi's brain and you get more and more evidence against your claims and you continue to disagree. These people hate Olivo but will admit that it wasn't as dumb a decision as you seemingly want it to be.

Then when you see that the stats only validate your ridiculousness, you dont concede, you claim that despite all that, Fredi just cant do it!

i said from the outset in the first post, before anybody else said anything, that the stats were in olivo's favor and what i was talking about was beyond that. a sense of fredi's mental functioning and intelligence, and how he "thinks about a lot of stuff."

you didn't contribute to confirming that or rejecting it in any way. you did mangle my words and thoughts as per usual. eh, but what's the sense in being accurate??? anyway, you're an idiot. learn how to read. and once you've done that, read the 1st post of this thread.

awesome man. now that you've accomplished calling people, who disagree with you, idiots through your internet connection, the next step would be to grow some testicles and actually say it to people's faces. its just that calling someone an idiot through your computer is so senseless. what can you do about it?

YOU ARE A STUPID IDIOT.

:thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup :thumbup

yea, it's terrible when a manager actually uses numbers/stats to make a lineup decision

for all the sh*t people give him, tonight's move actually made some sense

it just didn't work out

Yeah we lost this game because of Fredi

We got pounded by Philly IN Philly vs Jamie Moyer (CEO of Marlins Killers of America).

Total shocker.

  • Author

alright. i'm not convinced of that, but i appreciate how much more intelligent and persuasive that is than calling someone, who is almost imaginary, an idiot.

i like that. ty wigginton should be the executive vice president.

You kind of backed me into a corner there with your comments throughout this thread, there wasnt much more to be said. If we have Linden batting 4th as you stated as a better decision in a previous post, I cant imagine that you arent posting the exact same thing about Fredi's mental state.
