The Bigs

Featured Replies

Has anyone been playing the Bigs for xbox 360? This is the best baseball game I've played in a long time. It's an outstanding mix of arcade/real baseball. Reminds me of the old Ken Griffey Jr games for SNES/N64.

the bigs is pretty much the future of baseball gaming, the 2ks have been horrible.

I actually really like and still play MLB 2k6. But, unusually enough for an EA game, MVP 2005 was one of the best recent baseball games.

the future of gaming baseball is whenever EA can make another baseball game because 2k doesnt have much idea of what it is doing

Same goes with Madden.

I'm still playin MVP 2005

Yeah, why the heck couldn't have EA got the exclusive rights to MLB and 2K Sports got the rights to the NFL.

yeah same here, i hate mlb 2k6 and 2k7, i still play MVP 2005. The Bigs is pretty fun, but you'll get frustrated at the amount of times your HR's are robbed(I was). I have it on the Wii though, so we didnt get the times square pinball or turbo stuff.

Here's an idea, how bout nobody gets exclusive rights and developers are forced to make quality games?

MVP 2005 is still the best baseball game out there in my opinion. I have MLB 2k7 for Xbox 360, and while the graphics are good, the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. MVP 2005 actually has a pretty big following, over at www.mvpmods.com they've even modded the hell out of the PC version, updating it to be MVP 2007. Its pretty cool, anyone who has the PC version of MVP 2005 should go take a look.

That's the right idea right there. Ever since the exclusive agreements, the baseball and football games have gone stagnant. No real new features and the same old stuff year after year. Yet the other sports games are constantly getting better, NBA 2k and Live are at a constant battle and their games continue to show great improvement.

I'd love for EA to send out some sort of CD for older games giving updated rosters...

that will be 60 bucks please!

They could charge $15 and people would definately pay that.
